I always choose this place because it has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, outdoor dining area, welcome drink, snack bar. The staff gave me taxi tips at my first stay. Can't wait for my next romantic escape!

The location was superb, right in the heart of a beautiful medieval village. It was ideal for exploring and soaking in the charm and history. The gardens were absolutely stunning, and I loved spending time there, relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

That during our stay, there was a heatwave, and the room only had a big fan instead of air conditioning. The noise from the fan was quite disturbing, and it made it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel, it made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The old-fashioned furniture and beautiful paintings created a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The general areas were also well maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people like me to navigate around. Plus, I appreciated that there were no stairs to climb, which made it very accessible for us older folks.

I would have asked for a better vacation if the children working there could provide a menu with more options tailored towards senior people.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the charming village of Charroux and nearby attractions. The bedroom was beautifully decorated in a French style and the new bathroom was lovely. The breakfast served in the courtyard was delicious. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. we highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable and historic stay.

One drawback we encountered was the challenging access to the tower room 'Porte d'Oriente'. The narrow spiral staircase made it difficult to carry heavy luggage up and down.
